About This Screening
Advanced Full Body MOT
The Advanced Full Body MOT is an extended health screening that analyses over 50 biomarkers, providing detailed insight into metabolic, cardiovascular, nutritional, and inflammatory status. This panel is conducted at our City of London clinic and requires a single fasted venous blood sample collected by a registered nurse.
This screening builds upon our Basic Full Body MOT by adding a full thyroid panel (TSH, Free T3, Free T4), key vitamins (Vitamin D, B12, Folate), inflammatory markers (CRP, ESR), and advanced diabetes assessment including fasting insulin and HOMA-IR insulin resistance calculation. These additional markers are particularly relevant for individuals investigating fatigue, assessing metabolic risk, or seeking a more comprehensive picture of their health.
Key Highlights
- Comprehensive analysis of 50+ biomarkers
- Full thyroid panel including T3 and T4
- Vitamin D, B12, and Folate assessment
- Inflammatory marker evaluation
- Advanced diabetes screening with insulin resistance calculation (HOMA-IR)
Vitamin D deficiency is highly prevalent in the UK, particularly during winter months, and can affect bone health, immune function, and mood. Vitamin B12 and folate are essential for red blood cell production and neurological function — deficiency is more common in those following plant-based diets or taking certain medications. The inflammatory markers CRP and ESR provide information about systemic inflammation, which may be associated with a range of conditions including infection, autoimmune disease, and cardiovascular risk.
The full thyroid panel assesses both the regulatory (TSH) and active (T3, T4) thyroid hormones, offering a more complete picture of thyroid function than TSH alone. This is particularly relevant for individuals with symptoms such as fatigue, weight changes, or temperature sensitivity.
All samples are processed by a UKAS-accredited laboratory. Results are reviewed by our clinical team and delivered confidentially. Abnormal findings are flagged with appropriate guidance on next steps. This screening is a health assessment tool and does not constitute a clinical diagnosis.

How to Prepare
Follow these steps before your appointment for the most accurate results.
Fast for 10–12 hours before your appointment for accurate glucose, insulin, and lipid results — water is permitted.
Schedule a morning appointment where possible, as some markers are best measured in the morning.
Continue taking prescribed medications unless specifically advised otherwise by your prescribing clinician.
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours before your appointment, as this may affect certain inflammatory markers.
Ensure adequate hydration — water intake before venepuncture improves vein access and sample quality.
