About This Screening
Platinum Full Body MOT - Women
The Platinum Full Body MOT for Women is our most comprehensive health screening, encompassing over 50 biomarkers across all major organ systems. This panel is designed for women who want the most thorough assessment of their current health status, combining standard health markers with specialist tests not routinely available through NHS general practice.
The screening includes a complete metabolic assessment with full blood count, liver function, kidney function, thyroid function (TSH and Free T4), and inflammatory markers (CRP and ESR). A fasting lipid profile provides detailed cardiovascular risk evaluation including total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, non-HDL cholesterol, and triglycerides. Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in women in the UK, and comprehensive lipid assessment supports early identification of modifiable risk factors.
Key Highlights
- Extensive biomarker panel for comprehensive assessment
- CA-125 testing for ovarian health monitoring
- NT-proBNP cardiac marker for cardiac function assessment
- Full lipid profile for cardiovascular risk evaluation
- Comprehensive vitamin and mineral analysis
Cardiac assessment is enhanced with NT-proBNP, a biomarker released by the heart under increased wall stress. Elevated levels may indicate subclinical cardiac dysfunction before symptoms develop. NT-proBNP screening is particularly relevant for women with hypertension, diabetes, or family history of heart disease.
Ovarian health monitoring is included through CA-125, a protein that can be elevated in ovarian cancer and other pelvic pathology. It is important to note that CA-125 is not a definitive screening test for ovarian cancer — levels may be elevated in benign conditions including endometriosis and ovarian cysts. However, establishing a baseline value and monitoring trends over time can provide useful clinical information, particularly for women with relevant family history.
The hormonal panel includes oestradiol, FSH, LH, and progesterone, providing insight into ovarian function and menopausal status. Nutritional assessment covers vitamin D, vitamin B12, folate, ferritin, and iron studies — deficiencies that disproportionately affect women and can impact energy, mood, and fertility.
All samples are processed by a UKAS-accredited laboratory with results typically available within 3–5 working days.
