About This Screening
Platinum Full Body MOT - Men
The Platinum Full Body MOT for Men is our most comprehensive health screening, encompassing over 50 biomarkers across all major organ systems. This panel is designed for men who want the most thorough assessment of their current health status, combining standard health markers with specialist tests that are not routinely available through NHS general practice.
The screening includes a complete metabolic assessment with full blood count, liver function, kidney function, thyroid function, and inflammatory markers (CRP and ESR). A fasting lipid profile provides a detailed cardiovascular risk assessment including total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, non-HDL cholesterol, and triglycerides, which together help evaluate atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease risk.
Key Highlights
- Extensive biomarker panel for comprehensive assessment
- PSA testing for prostate health evaluation
- NT-proBNP cardiac marker for cardiac function assessment
- Full lipid profile for cardiovascular risk evaluation
- Comprehensive vitamin and mineral analysis
Cardiac assessment is enhanced with NT-proBNP, a biomarker released by the heart in response to increased wall stress. Elevated NT-proBNP may indicate subclinical cardiac dysfunction before symptoms become apparent, making it a valuable screening marker for men concerned about heart health. This marker is particularly useful for men with risk factors including hypertension, diabetes, or family history of heart failure.
Prostate health is assessed through Total PSA and Free PSA with the Free:Total ratio. While PSA is not a definitive diagnostic test for prostate cancer, it provides useful baseline data and can identify men who may benefit from further investigation. The Free:Total ratio adds specificity, helping to distinguish between benign and potentially significant PSA elevations.
Nutritional assessment includes vitamin D, vitamin B12, folate, ferritin, and iron studies. These markers identify common deficiencies that affect energy, cognitive function, and immunity. A comprehensive hormonal panel includes testosterone, SHBG, Free Androgen Index, and DHEA-S, providing insight into androgenic and adrenal function.
All samples are processed by a UKAS-accredited laboratory with results typically available within 3–5 working days.
